Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Resident Assistant/Med Tech, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to residents in a long-term care or assisted living environment. This dynamic position combines supportive caregiving with medication administration and health monitoring, ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and engaged. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a warm community atmosphere, promoting residents&rsquo; well-being and independence every day.Duties<ul><li>Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.</li><li>Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems</li><li>Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques</li><li>Support residents with assisted living needs by helping with meal preparation, light cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards</li><li>Engage residents through social activities and companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Prefer at least 6 months or more working experience in the assisted living industry and/or memory care.</li><li>Medication Assistance certification (6 hour) ~ preferred. Company will provide training.</li><li>CPR/1st Aid - preferred. Company will provide training.</li><li>Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or personal care homes</li><li>Knowledge of Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, dementia management, and memory care best practices</li><li>Skilled in assisting with ADLs, personal care tasks</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident information and medication administration</li><li>Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage residents positively</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings</li></ul>Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents!
