We are building the data platform for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. We're looking to bring onboard experienced Senior Software Engineers who execute high-impact projects and are excited about building at a significant scale!In this role, you'll:<ul><li>Build cloud-native data ingest and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day</li><li>Add features to our product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more</li><li>Build and improve batch based application as well as streaming pipelines</li><li>Build scalable API services on AWS that handle 1,000's requests per second</li><li>Help the team to modernise our stack to operate at 10x current capacity</li><li>Debug production issues across multiple systems and microservices</li></ul>We're looking for candidates who have:<ul><li>Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native microservices-based distributed systems in a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP</li><li>You have a bias to ship and iterate alongside product management and design partners</li><li>Experience with object-oriented programming languages. We mostly use Java but appreciate a variety of languages!</li><li>Strong technical background with extensive experience working directly on backend systems/ projects</li><li>You take pride in materializing product ideas into production</li><li>Exposure to or interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem</li><li>Experience mentoring other engineers, leading cross-team projects, and driving design and technology decisions is a plus</li><li>Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus!</li><li>A genuine excitement for significantly scaling large data systems</li></ul>Technologies we use (experience not required):<ul><li>AWS serverless architectures</li><li>Kubernetes</li><li>Spark</li><li>Flink</li><li>Databricks</li><li>Parquet.
