Job OverviewAfternoon Route Monday-Saturday from 3pm-6:30pm going out of Waldorf Maryland box truck route.Join our dynamic team as a Class B Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your driving skills, this is the perfect opportunity to accelerate your career while making a real impact.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate Class B trucks equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Drive various types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers as required for different freight types</li><li>Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring cargo integrity and safety</li><li>Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and other critical systems</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for compliance purposes</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Class B commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with a clean driving record</li><li>Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving</li><li>Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is required</li><li>Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload freight safely using forklifts or manual techniques</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and inspections</li></ul>Join us in delivering excellence on every route!
