Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with organizations seeking expert financial leadership on a flexible, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financial management, corporate accounting, and strategic planning to help organizations optimize their financial health, ensure compliance, and accelerate growth. As a vital member of the leadership team, you will leverage your expertise to drive fiscal discipline, enhance risk management practices, and support sustainable development.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability. </li><li>Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance (such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS), and adherence to SOX controls. </li><li>Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation plans. </li><li>Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management. </li><li>Support mergers &amp; acquisitions activities through due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning. </li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret complex data for senior leadership to inform decision-making. </li><li>Conduct market analysis and business evaluations to identify opportunities for expansion or cost optimization. </li><li>Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, cost control measures, and profit &amp; loss analysis. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain internal controls based on frameworks like COSO. </li><li>Provide leadership in implementing advanced financial software tools and systems for efficient data management. </li><li>Collaborate with management on strategic planning initiatives that enhance revenue management and overall fiscal health.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive with a focus on corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit sectors. </li><li>Strong understanding of financial concepts including risk management, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS; familiarity with ASC 606 is a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal control frameworks like COSO. </li><li>Skilled in financial modeling, business analysis, and market evaluation techniques. </li><li>Experience managing treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships. </li><li>Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and influence senior leadership decision-making. </li><li>Proficiency in financial software systems coupled with technical accounting expertise in areas such as tax accounting and cost accounting. </li><li>Strong negotiation skills paired with strategic thinking for business development opportunities like mergers &amp; acquisitions. </li><li>Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred but not required.
