Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with organizations seeking expert financial leadership on a flexible, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financial management, corporate accounting, and strategic planning to help organizations optimize their financial health, ensure compliance, and accelerate growth. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance (such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS), and adherence to SOX controls.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
- Support mergers & acquisitions activities through due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret complex data for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
- Conduct market analysis and business evaluations to identify opportunities for expansion or cost optimization.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, cost control measures, and profit & loss analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain internal controls based on frameworks like COSO.
- Provide leadership in implementing advanced financial software tools and systems for efficient data management.
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning initiatives that enhance revenue management and overall fiscal health.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive with a focus on corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including risk management, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS; familiarity with ASC 606 is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal control frameworks like COSO.
- Skilled in financial modeling, business analysis, and market evaluation techniques.
- Experience managing treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and influence senior leadership decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial software systems coupled with technical accounting expertise in areas such as tax accounting and cost accounting.
- Strong negotiation skills paired with strategic thinking for business development opportunities like mergers & acquisitions.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
