Overview:</b></div><div>
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Fleet Coordinator<b> </b>to oversee our transportation operations and ensure our trucks, drivers, and donation pickups run smoothly every day.<br>
</div><div>
This leadership role keeps our logistics moving, supports our ReSale Stores, strengthens donor relationships, and helps our mission thrive. The ideal candidate brings a balance of collaboration, ownership, respect, and energy &mdash; our CORE values &mdash; to daily operations.<br>

You&rsquo;ll manage routes, support drivers, coordinate fleet maintenance, and ensure that every donation experience reflects the professionalism and heart of Habitat for Humanity.<br>

Key Responsibilities</b><br>
</div><div><b>
Daily Operations &amp; Customer Service:</b></div><ul><li>
Answer incoming calls with a clear, professional, friendly voice while providing exceptional customer service to donors and customers.</li><li>
Schedule and optimize daily routes for two trucks to ensure timely, efficient pick-ups and deliveries.</li><li>
Organize, coordinate, and track all pick-ups and deliveries with accurate documentation.</li><li>
Communicate clearly with donors, homeowners, store staff, and internal departments to support smooth, consistent operations.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Fleet &amp; Logistics Management:</b></div><ul><li>
Oversee all fleet maintenance including routine service, inspections, and repairs.</li><li>
Maintain accurate logs, receipts, fuel records, and maintenance documentation.</li><li>
Ensure trucks and equipment meet safety standards and are ready for daily operations.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Leadership &amp; Team Support:'</b></div><ul><li>
Manage and motivate a team of drivers, driver assistants, and call center assistants.</li><li>
Provide daily leadership, coaching, constructive feedback, and support.</li><li>
Conduct or assist with safety meetings and training.</li><li>
Uphold Habitat&rsquo;s CORE values in all interactions: collaborate openly, take ownership with integrity, respect each voice, and bring positive energy every day.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Planning &amp; Problem Solving:</b></div><ul><li>
Plan daily and weekly routes for donation pick-ups, ReSale Store transfers, dump runs, clean-outs, and store-to-store movement of merchandise.</li><li>
Use strong decision-making skills to adjust schedules and solve issues as they arise.</li><li>
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and donor experience.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Knowledge of the Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and Englewood areas (preferred).</li><li>
Valid Florida Driver&rsquo;s License with the ability to safely drive Habitat trucks as needed.</li><li>
Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>
Ability to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and lead a team effectively.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>
Reliable, goal-oriented, and committed to professional excellence.</li><li>
Experience in logistics, routing, or fleet operations (preferred but not required).</li><li>
Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.</li></ul><div><br>
