Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology)Location: Port Charlotte, FloridaSalary: Commensurate with ExperiencePosition Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing cardiology practice in Port Charlotte, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated NP with a strong clinical background and a passion for cardiovascular care. While cardiology experience is highly preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong foundation in internal or family medicine and a desire to specialize in cardiology.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical exams</li><li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab results</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care</li><li>Educate patients on heart health, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records</li><li>Participate in follow-up care, medication management, and preventive screenings</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida (required)</li><li>Certification as an NP by AANP or ANCC (required)</li><li>DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)</li><li>Cardiology experience highly preferred</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</li><li>EMR proficiency (experience with Intergy is a plus)</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation:<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Malpractice insurance provided</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
