The Manager Finance &ndash; Taxation will be responsible for managing all direct and indirect tax matters of the retail business, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws, efficient tax planning, and timely statutory filings. The role requires strong hands-on experience in retail taxation, including sales tax, income tax, withholding tax, and coordination with tax authorities.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and oversee all taxation matters including Sales Tax (POS-integrated), Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other applicable provincial/federal taxes.</li><li>Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of tax returns, statements, and reconciliations as per FBR and provincial requirements.</li><li>Handle sales tax reconciliations between POS systems, ERP, and FBR portal.</li><li>Ensure compliance with retail-specific tax laws, exemptions, and SROs.</li><li>Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities for assessments, audits, and notices.</li><li>Review and monitor withholding tax deductions on vendors, landlords, service providers, and employees.</li><li>Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax liabilities while remaining compliant.</li><li>Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing with respect to tax provisions and accruals.</li><li>Maintain proper tax documentation and records for audits and inspections.</li><li>Keep management informed on changes in tax laws impacting the retail business.</li><li>Provide guidance to branch and accounts teams on tax compliance and POS-related matters.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
