Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about accounting and eager to make a positive impact within a collaborative environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently</li><li>Prepare journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis regularly to identify discrepancies</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations</li><li>Support budgeting activities and prepare financial reports for management review</li><li>Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including debits &amp; credits, for audit readiness and transparency</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar tools</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including GAAP and governmental accounting standards</li><li>Experience with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger accounting</li><li>Knowledge of financial concepts like account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis</li><li>Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation accurately</li><li>Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and tax experience</li><li>Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills including 10 key typing proficiency</li><li>Effective communication skills for financial report writing and documentation</li><li>Ability to adapt to various software platforms and technical accounting procedures</li></ul>Join us as a Bookkeeper to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, transparency, and continuous improvement.
