With a strong presence across major metro cities, the company specialises in bringing high-quality global food products to retail, HORECA, and modern trade channels.Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Executive to support the import operations team in managing documentation, shipment coordination, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational skills and a basic understanding of international trade procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate with international suppliers regarding shipment schedules and documentation</li><li>Prepare and verify import and export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.)</li><li>Liaise with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters</li><li>Track shipments and ensure timely clearance from customs</li><li>Assist in calculating duties, taxes, and landed costs</li><li>Maintain accurate import records and update internal trackers</li><li>Support in regulatory compliance related to food imports (FSSAI, customs norms, etc.)</li><li>Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams for smooth inward processing</li></ul>Eligibility Criteria<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or related field</li><li>6months - 2 years of experience in import operations (food industry preferred)</li><li>Basic understanding of customs procedures and international shipping terms</li><li>Familiarity with MS Excel and documentation handling</li><li>Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills</li></ul>Key Skills Required<ul><li>Documentation accuracy</li><li>Coordination &amp; communication skills</li><li>Time management</li><li>Problem-solving ability</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow in import operations</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Opportunity to work with leading global food brands</li><li>Hands-on exposure to end-to-end import operations</li><li>Career growth within a fast-growing food distribution organisation</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Import Operations: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Fluent English (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Sakinaka, Mumbai, Maharashtra (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
