Job Summary The Secretary to the Superintendent provides high-level administrative and confidential support to the Superintendent and serves as a key liaison between the Superintendent, Board of Education, district staff, and the community. This position requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide direct administrative support to the Superintendent, including calendar management, correspondence, and scheduling of meetings and appointments</li><li>Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and official documents</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and communications</li><li>Coordinate all Board of Education meeting logistics, including preparation and distribution of agendas and materials</li><li>Record and prepare accurate minutes of Board meetings</li><li>Ensure compliance with public meeting requirements, including posting notices and maintaining official records</li><li>Maintain Board policies and updates</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma required; associate&rsquo;s or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>Prior administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a school or public sector setting</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>Knowledge of school district operations and Board procedures preferred</li></ul>Join us as a District Secretary and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to making a positive impact through effective administration.
