Looking for meaningful work in a respected specialty practice?Chest Medicine Associates (CMA) is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pulmonology and sleep medicine team on a fulltime basis.If you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoy patient interaction, and take pride in supporting high-quality specialty care &mdash; we&rsquo;d love to meet you.Why This Role Stands Out✔ Work closely with experienced pulmonologists and APPs ✔ Be part of a collaborative, supportive clinical team ✔ Gain specialty experience in sleep medicine and pulmonary careWhat You&rsquo;ll Be DoingYou&rsquo;ll be a key part of our patient care team, helping keep clinic flow smooth and communication clear.Clinical Care<ul><li>Room patients and obtain/document vital signs</li><li>Review and confirm patient information in the EMR</li><li>Assist with prescription refill processing under provider direction</li><li>Coordinate prior authorizations for medications and testing</li><li>Support completion of DME, BMV, and other required forms</li></ul>Communication &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Manage incoming calls and patient portal messages</li><li>Triage and route messages appropriately</li><li>Communicate provider recommendations, results, and instructions to patients clearly and professionally</li></ul>Administrative Support<ul><li>Assist with scheduling and confirming visits and testing</li><li>Upload and organize documents in the EMR</li><li>Support overall clinic workflow</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForRequired<ul><li>Current BLS certification</li><li>Active Maine RN license (for RN applicants)</li><li>Strong EMR and computer proficiency</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>High level of professionalism and confidentiality</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Accredited MA program completion (for MA applicants)</li><li>Prior clinical experience (MA or RN)</li><li>Experience in pulmonology or sleep medicine</li></ul>The Ideal CandidateYou are:<ul><li>Organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Calm and professional in a busy clinical setting</li><li>Comfortable communicating with patients, families, and providers</li><li>Able to work independently while supporting a team</li><li>Committed to excellent patient care</li></ul>At CMA, we value teamwork, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.
