This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives through active learning, play, and development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and lead engaging recreational activities, including sports, arts, theater, and outdoor play that cater to diverse interests and developmental needs</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques</li><li>Ensure the safety of all children by implementing proper supervision, first aid procedures, and emergency protocols</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to plan age-appropriate curricula that support childhood development and early childhood education principles</li><li>Foster an inclusive environment by working with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education accommodations</li><li>Provide tutoring or academic support as needed to reinforce learning in a fun and supportive manner</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and activities</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp, childcare, or educational settings is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management techniques</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education training or Christian counseling are a plus</li><li>Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive environment</li><li>Ability to plan and execute creative activities that promote physical activity, social skills, and cognitive growth</li><li>Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members</li><li>Passion for working with children and fostering their early childhood education and overall well-being</li></ul>Join us in shaping joyful experiences for children while advancing your career in a lively, supportive environment!Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
