Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Must have peds experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including urgent care, internal medicine, and geriatrics. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively assist healthcare providers while ensuring patient comfort and safety.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.</li><li>Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.</li><li>Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.</li><li>Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.</li><li>Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of physiology, particularly in areas such as geriatrics, emergency medicine, and inpatient care.</li></ul>Experience Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:<ul><li>Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with medication administration protocols.</li><li>Knowledge of physiology and its application in a clinical setting.</li><li>Experience working in hospital environments, particularly in internal medicine or pediatric intensive care units (PICU).</li><li>A strong understanding of outpatient procedures related to operating rooms (OR) is a plus.</li></ul>Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patient care while advancing your career as a Certified Medical Assistant.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
