Our team works together to provide high-quality care and education that fosters each child&rsquo;s growth and development.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe, supportive, and multicultural learning environment. The ideal candidate will plan and implement activities that promote social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development while encouraging independence, confidence, and respect for individuality.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and maintain an anti-bias, multicultural classroom environment</li><li>Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities</li><li>Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff</li><li>Provide leadership and mentorship to classroom staff and caregivers</li><li>Ensure compliance with all state licensing and health/safety requirements</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and maintain accurate records</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent (ECE credits or higher education preferred)</li><li>Completion of Basic STARS Training</li><li>Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Food Handler&rsquo;s Card</li><li>Up-to-date TB test and successful background check</li><li>Strong skills in organization, classroom management, and communication</li><li>Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds</li></ul>Compensation:Pay is based on experience and educational credentials.Why Join Us:Supportive and welcoming team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and ongoing trainingMake a real difference in the lives of children and families every dayHow to Apply:Submit your resume and a brief cover letter sharing why you&rsquo;d be a great fit for our team!Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.66 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Tacoma, WA 98405 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Tacoma, WA 98405: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
