Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe, supportive, and multicultural learning environment. The ideal candidate will plan and implement activities that promote social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development while encouraging independence, confidence, and respect for individuality.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain an anti-bias, multicultural classroom environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Provide leadership and mentorship to classroom staff and caregivers
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and health/safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with parents and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (ECE credits or higher education preferred)
• Completion of Basic STARS Training
• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Food Handler’s Card
• Up-to-date TB test and successful background check
• Strong skills in organization, classroom management, and communication
• Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience and educational credentials.
