We are a childcare center eager to practice life skills every day, and we&rsquo;re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. If you are a team player who values collaboration, communication, and creating a safe, healthy environment - we want to meet you!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure the well-being of all children in your care, maintaining a safe and nurturing atmosphere.</li><li>Foster open communication with parents and staff members, always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.</li><li>Ensure smooth transitions during the day and respond calmly to any challenges that arise.</li><li>Work alongside fellow teachers to foster a positive, cohesive, and effective learning environment.</li><li>Cover in classrooms for staff lunch and bathroom breaks</li><li>Assist in preparing and delivering snacks and meals, as well as helping with kitchen duties.</li></ul>&middot; Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, organizing, washing, mopping, and sanitizing to maintain a tidy environment.&middot; Interact positively with children: whether it&rsquo;s engaging in play, guiding them through conflict resolution, or supporting them during transitions and nap time.Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Frequently bend, kneel, twist, and crouch to meet children&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>Must be physically able to lift, carry, or position children or objects up to 50 pounds.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team, demonstrating respect and cooperation.</li><li>Prior experience in childcare or related field is preferred, but not required.</li><li>A strong desire to help children develop both academically and emotionally.</li><li>Flexibility to adapt to a schedule that may change based on family needs. **Must be willing to work between the hours of 10-6**.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Be part of a supportive, nurturing team that believes in the power of teamwork and mutual respect.</li><li>Opportunities to grow in a dynamic environment where every day brings new learning experiences.</li><li>Competitive compensation and career growth opportunities.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $12.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
