Job Type:
Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 

Pay: $34+ Hourly, Based on Experience
Travel &amp; night work may be required. MUST be able to work out of town and nights, on occasion. 

Industrial Electrician Superintendent Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee the operations of crews of electrical apprentices, industrial electricians, and electrical foremen.</li>
<li>Work closely with the project foreman and project manager to ensure the efficient and successful completion of projects from start to finish.</li>
<li>Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.</li>
<li>Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.</li>
<li>Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.</li>
<li>Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.</li>
<li>Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.</li>
<li>Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.</li>

<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work well in a team environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)</li>
<li>Proficient in Blueprint reading.</li>
<li>Understanding of one-line diagrams and PLCs.</li>
<li>Class A CDL *Preferred*</li>
<li>Highway Lighting experience *Preferred*</li>
<li>Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant experience *Preferred*</li>
<li>Minimum of of 3+ years of industrial electrical experience *Required*</li>
<li>Minimum of 7+ years of supervising experience *Required*</li>
<li>Active Journeyman's License *Required*</li></ul>

Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, digging using a shovel, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
