This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills, gain retail experience, and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection and inquiries</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement</li><li>Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing</li><li>Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining visual appeal</li><li>Support inventory management through stock replenishment and regular stock checks</li><li>Upsell relevant products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met</li><li>Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures</li><li>Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment preferred</li><li>Ability to perform product demos confidently and clearly communicate features to customers</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively</li><li>Strong communication skills to engage customers and collaborate with team members</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices in a retail or grocery store setting</li><li>Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as discounts, totals, and change-making</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication</li><li>Customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently</li><li>Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales volume while maintaining customer satisfaction</li></ul>Join us to be part of a lively retail environment where your energy makes a difference!
