Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection and inquiries
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining visual appeal
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and regular stock checks
• Upsell relevant products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment preferred
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and clearly communicate features to customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills to engage customers and collaborate with team members
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices in a retail or grocery store setting
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as discounts, totals, and change-making
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication
• Customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales volume while maintaining customer satisfaction
