<ul><li>Minimum requirements: High School Diploma, 18+ years of age.</li><li>Ability to clear a drug screening, background and fingerprint check.</li><li>Ability to relate positively with young children.</li><li>Ability to effectively perform activities with young children and to effectively supervise children.</li><li>Ability to work independently and interdependently while maintaining the highest level of self-control, patience as well as a positive attitude and behavior with young children.</li><li>Ability to exhibit sound judgment when or if the need arises for you to notify supervisors of matters that merits their attention.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate by means of written skills.</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment particularly in a crisis situation.</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Physical stamina -- must be able to bend, stand, sit on the floor and keep up with young children.</li><li>Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the workplace including but not limited to the ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally.</li><li>Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.</li><li>Must meet basic requirements of a child care regulatory agency to maintain a safe environment for children.</li><li>Ability and/or willingness to learn and implement early childhood education through knowledge of developmental needs of young children based on education, previous work experience, or as a parent or caregiver of children.</li><li>Punctual, dependable, patient, enthusiastic, flexible.</li><li>Previous teaching with a quality preschool, child care center, summer day camp or church nursery for at least 1 year preferred.</li><li>Reliable transportation and the desire to work in a positive and motivating environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>After school</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>No weekends</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Bellaire, TX 77401 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Bellaire, TX 77401: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
