The substitute teacher helps maintain a productive and respectful learning environment by following provided lesson plans and ensuring classroom continuity.</p><div>
</div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Follow lesson plans and class procedures provided by the regular teacher.</li><li>
Instruct students in subject-specific content and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.</li><li>
Take accurate attendance and report any issues to the school office or principal.</li><li>
Supervise students in the classroom and during assigned duties (e.g., lunch or passing periods).</li><li>
Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.</li><li>
Communicate with the principal or lead teacher regarding student behavior or concerns during the day.</li></ul><ul><li>
High school diploma required; some college or teaching experience preferred.</li><li>
Ability to manage a high school classroom and follow academic instructions.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to a variety of subject areas and classroom environments.</li><li>
