To provide classroom instruction and supervision for high school students (grades 9–12) in the absence of the regular teacher. The substitute teacher helps maintain a productive and respectful learning environment by following provided lesson plans and ensuring classroom continuity.
Key Responsibilities

Follow lesson plans and class procedures provided by the regular teacher.

Instruct students in subject-specific content and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.

Take accurate attendance and report any issues to the school office or principal.

Supervise students in the classroom and during assigned duties (e.g., lunch or passing periods).

Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

Communicate with the principal or lead teacher regarding student behavior or concerns during the day.

High school diploma required; some college or teaching experience preferred.

Ability to manage a high school classroom and follow academic instructions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
