SALARY: is commensurate with relevant experience
PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $28.85
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a key member of our finance team, you will:
<ul><li>Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and accurate entries to vendor accounts</li>
<li>Reconcile monthly benefit invoices</li>
<li>Review and confirm employee expense reports</li>
<li>Match invoiced amounts to purchase orders and receiving reports</li>
<li>Book and reconcile monthly company credit card expenses</li>
<li>Respond to vendor inquiries regarding account statuses and payments</li>
<li>Analyze vendor accounts and assist with reporting as needed</li>
<li>Perform daily audits on received shipments to ensure accurate recordkeeping</li>
<li>Handle clerical duties such as sorting, filing, and correspondence</li>
<li>Manage updates to vendor records, including W9 requests and address changes</li>
<li>Support special projects and cross-functional accounting efforts</li>
<li>Reconcile monthly medical insurance invoices</li>
<li>Review monthly expense reports</li>
<li>Confirm amounts invoiced from purchase orders match</li>
<li>Book monthly company credit card expenses</li>
<li>Answer all vendor inquiries referencing accounts payable</li>
<li>Prepare analysis of vendor accounts, as required</li>
<li>Assist with special projects, as necessary</li>
<li>Sort and file correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports</li>
<li>Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and requesting W9&rsquo;s from vendors.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience</li>
<li>Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
<li>Familiarity with Sage MAS 200 is a plus</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines</li>
<li>Solid computer skills and comfort with accounting systems</li>
<li>A satisfactory credit check will be required for this position since it handles financial information and monies</li>
</ul>
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
<ul><li>General office skills and dexterity are required.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 30 pounds.</li>
<li>In-office position sitting at a desk</li>
</ul>

This is a non-supervisory position.
