This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales skills, culinary knowledge, and dedication to outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry</li><li>Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales</li><li>Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities</li><li>Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety and food handling protocols</li><li>Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally</li><li>Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover</li><li>Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing waitlists and assisting with guest seating</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly</li><li>Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine guest interactions</li><li>Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality</li><li>Demonstrated time management skills in a fast-paced setting; multitasking ability is essential</li><li>Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Experience with cashiering, basic math skills for cash handling, and POS transactions</li><li>Previous host/hostess or nightclub serving experience is advantageous but not required</li><li>Strong communication skills and a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and guest satisfaction</li></ul>Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality in a vibrant setting!
