The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in delivering high-performance, scalable, and customer-centric eCommerce solutions for a major international airline. The role focuses on building modern, responsive, and SEO-optimized web applications that support high traffic volumes, global users, and complex airline digital commerce use cases. Working as part of a distributed delivery team, the engineer will contribute to UI/UX excellence, performance optimization, and seamless integration with backend services and airline digital platforms.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React or Angular, supported by Node.js-based backend services.</li><li>Performance &amp; SEO: Implement and optimize applications using Next.js (SSR and SSG) to ensure superior performance, fast page loads, and strong search engine visibility.</li><li>UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and fully responsive user interfaces across web and mobile devices.</li><li>Global Readiness: Implement and manage localization (i18n) and regionalization features to support multi-language and multi-market airline eCommerce platforms.</li><li>API Integration: Integrate front-end applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange.</li><li>Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve application performance, focusing on Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, and rendering efficiency.</li><li>Engineering Discipline: Adhere to secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices, coding standards, and enterprise quality benchmarks.</li></ul>Required Skills and Experience<ul><li>5&ndash;8 years of hands-on experience in modern web application development.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Reactm Angular, Node.js, and Next.js.</li><li>Solid experience in responsive UI development, UI/UX implementation, and performance optimization.</li><li>Practical knowledge of SEO, localization (i18n), and web accessibility considerations.</li><li>Proven experience integrating front-end solutions with APIs.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling tools, and design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs450,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience building responsive, pixel-perfect UIs from Figma or Adobe XD designs?</li><li>Have you worked on performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, rendering efficiency) for high-traffic applications?</li><li>Are you comfortable with the salary range of PKR 350,000 to 450,000 per month for this role?</li><li>Do you have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in modern web application development?</li><li>Have you worked extensively with React or Angular in production environments?</li><li>Do you have practical experience using Next.js (SSR and/or SSG) for performance and SEO optimization?</li><li>Have you integrated front-end applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
