Senior Software Engineer (React, Node.js)

The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in delivering high-performance, scalable, and customer-centric eCommerce solutions for a major international airline. The role focuses on building modern, responsive, and SEO-optimized web applications that support high traffic volumes, global users, and complex airline digital commerce use cases. Working as part of a distributed delivery team, the engineer will contribute to UI/UX excellence, performance optimization, and seamless integration with backend services and airline digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React or Angular, supported by Node.js-based backend services.
• Performance & SEO: Implement and optimize applications using Next.js (SSR and SSG) to ensure superior performance, fast page loads, and strong search engine visibility.
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and fully responsive user interfaces across web and mobile devices.
• Global Readiness: Implement and manage localization (i18n) and regionalization features to support multi-language and multi-market airline eCommerce platforms.
• API Integration: Integrate front-end applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve application performance, focusing on Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, and rendering efficiency.
• Engineering Discipline: Adhere to secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices, coding standards, and enterprise quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in modern web application development.
• Strong proficiency in Reactm Angular, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Solid experience in responsive UI development, UI/UX implementation, and performance optimization.
• Practical knowledge of SEO, localization (i18n), and web accessibility considerations.
• Proven experience integrating front-end solutions with APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling tools, and design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs450,000.00 per month
