The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient care. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will support dentists in delivering exceptional dental treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a modern dental practice.Duties<ul><li>Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.</li><li>Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) in accordance with safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Manage patient records using OpenDental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical documentation.</li><li>Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assist in medical imaging procedures when necessary for comprehensive patient assessments.</li><li>Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.</li><li>Support the dental reception team by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and handling medical records with professionalism.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure.</li><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.</li><li>Proficiency in OpenDental; familiarity with medical coding is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures.</li><li>Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with pediatric patients preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare providers.</li><li>Familiarity with 3D scanners and other medical imaging equipment is advantageous.
