Provides organizational and project related support for various department manager<ul><li>s</li>
Greets customers, answers and screens phone calls, answers questions, directs inquiries to proper sources and helps with online issue<li>s</li>
Coordinates appointments, schedules meetings, keeps departmental calendars and facilitates meeting implementation
Handles registrations, makes travel reservations and arranges transportatio<li>n</li>
Provides guidance to staff and customer<li>s</li>
Prepares and processes variety of documents, agendas, correspondence, agreements, materials etc<li>.</li>
Maintains and distributes official and confidential documentatio<li>n</li>
Verifies and trouble shoots information, performs data entry, scans applications, receives payments and mails various correspondenc<li>e</li>
Processes various documents such as permits, applications, payments, renewals, purchase orders, claims, billing requests and registration<li>s</li>

Office Assistant III

<div><p>The purpose of this job is to provide budget preparation, analysis, and evaluation services to City Management. Prepares the City's preliminary and final Fiscal Plan documents and special budget packages, provides accounting assistance to City Departments, and completes special projects as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.<br>

Designs and prepares budget planning instructions for revenue, capital and operating request<ul><li>s</li>
Researches, compiles and verifies accuracy of financial data (i.e. Departmental and General Fund expenditures and revenues) and incorporate into the Fiscal Pla<li>n</li>
Creates statistical graphs based on budgetary data for Financial Overvie<li>w</li>
Completes special studies, as assigned, such as the A-87 cost allocation plan<li>s</li>
Compiles debt schedule<li>s</li>
Coordinates assembly of Fiscal Plan, including reconciliation, cross-referencing and pagination. Prepares electronic version of Fiscal Plan for posting and posts to the Departmental websit<li>e</li>
Designs and manages computerized Capital program for financial analysis. Answers questions for database user<li>s</li>
Compiles data received from all city departments and design report<li>s</li>
Coordinates assembly of five-year Capital Progra<li>m</li>
Manages and maintains Budget Amendment database year-roun<li>d</li>
Researches and compiles detailed financial data into a user-friendly format for analytical purposes (i.e. monthly financial reports<li>)</li>
Initiates interdepartmental billings for Worker&rsquo;s Compensatio<li>n</li>
Other duties such as: preparing exhibits for Budget Instructions, manage departmental web-site, special projects as assigned by Budget Analysts or Assistant City Manager, etc<li>.</li></ul></div><p></p>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Training and Experience</b></h2></div><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, business, or public administration, economics or related field<ul><li>.</li></ul>

Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in budget planning and analysis, governmental accounting or related field<ul><li>.</li></ul>
