GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION</b></p><p>
Performs technical and legal administrative work of some complexity in the support of city legal proceedings. Work requires specialized knowledge of legal procedures, principles, terminology, and forms. Incumbent is responsible for performing varied legal clerical and administrative work which involves considerable contact with the public, various departments and agencies; filing and reporting of case information from public and law enforcement agencies in accordance with policies; maintaining confidential records; disseminating information to the public and/or law enforcement agencies. Incumbent also exercises a high degree of independence and thoroughness and accuracy in performing secretarial duties and administrative details within established time constraints.</p><p><b>

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION</b></p><p>
The incumbent performs highly responsible providing expert advice, organizes, implements and administers high-profile marketing and economic development initiatives, programs and projects relating to business recruitment and development. Primary responsibilities include promotion of Kingman&rsquo;s value as a business location, generate qualified prospects in targeted clusters in alignment with Council strategic initiatives, branding, strategic research, statistical comparisons and trend analysis, creative development and production of advertising, promotion campaigns and cooperative programs. Assumes role of chief negotiator and assists the Planning and Economic Development Director with more complex projects in expansion and retention activities. Interfaces and coordinates with the development community, local businesses and various City departments.</p><p><b>

<b>Knowledge: </b>Must possess a thorough knowledge of court procedures and policies, legal documents, laws and ordinances relating to the court; Working knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of quality customer service; Computers and information systems; Office automation, practices and procedures; Cash handling processes; Basic knowledge of mathematics and recordkeeping principles and practices; English spelling, grammar and punctuation;<br>
<br>
<b>Skills: </b>Skill in the operation and care of standard office equipment including personal computer and related software applications; Providing quality customer service both telephonically and in person; Prioritizing work and multi-tasking; Performing efficient and accurate data entry; Maintaining various records and files; Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and the public; Troubleshooting problems; Working in a team environment; Demonstrating proficiency to prepare documents, spreadsheets, databases, and email; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.<br>
