DEPARTMENTAL INFORMATION
The Utilities Department has 825 employees who provide water, wastewater and solid waste services to metro area residents and businesses. To support a safe and qualified workforce, Utilities conducts over 27,000 hours of leadership, regulatory compliance, and technical skills training each year. The Training Analyst is a member of a small team of professionals who design, deliver, and coordinate these training services with minimal disruption to the department&rsquo;s core services.
JOB SUMMARY
This job is located in the Administration Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. The Training Analyst is primarily responsible for researching, developing, designing, and implementing training programs for both supervisory and non-supervisory City employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
<ul><li>Identifying and assessing training needs.
</li><li>Presenting and delivering training programs.
</li><li>Maintaining accurate training records and documentation.
</li><li>Evaluating short and long-term training outcomes and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
<ul><li>Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in education, organizational development, or related field.
</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years' experience conducting needs assessments, writing standard operating procedures (SOP) and designing/delivering training to adult learners.
</li><li>Knowledge of and skill in developing/delivering safety, regulatory, and/or skills-based training in a large organization of 250+ employees with varied work activities.
</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 suite applications (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Forms and SharePoint).
</li><li>Knowledge of and proficiency using a learning management system (LMS).

Pay Method: City employees are required to receive pay electronically, either via direct deposit or pay card.
