This position combines statutory responsibilities with advanced administrative support to the City Recorder and City Manager. Performs a variety of highly responsible and complex clerical, secretarial, confidential and administrative duties and assists in the daily operations of the Administrative/Commission Department. Provides back-up to the Planning Commission Secretary as needed.Pay and Benefits:This is a full-time, non-exempt, union-represented position.<ul><li>Salary Range 17: $3,901.61 &ndash; $4,742.43 per month</li><li>Salary Range 18: $4,097.67 &ndash; $4,980.74 per month (for Certified or Master Municipal Clerk)</li></ul>The position includes an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays including personal holidays.Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of three years of administrative experience, or a satisfactory combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties of the position</li></ul>Application ProcessApplication packets are available at https://www.warrentonoregon.us/employment/9.The first review of applications will occur on February 2, 2026.
