Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary mental health team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient well-being and community health.Your Citywide Primary Collaborating Psychiatrist promotes up to date, evidence-based approaches and encourages active training with regular case discussions and didactics. We currently offer a hybrid service model, allowing providers to conduct the majority of sessions via telehealth while also maintaining in-person clinical care as required. Citywide is committed to supporting work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and leadership that prioritizes provider well-being.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations, risk assessments, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards.</li><li>Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including psychopharmacology treatments tailored to each patient's needs.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating therapy, medication management, and patient education.</li><li>Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care for remote or underserved populations.</li><li>Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects aimed at advancing psychiatric practices and patient safety.</li><li>Offer crisis intervention and triage services for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes or emergencies.</li><li>Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and community resources.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in behavioral health settings with exposure to diverse populations including children, geriatrics, assisted living residents, or hospice patients.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and coding practices including CPT and ICD coding standards.</li><li>Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles, medication administration protocols, and medication management strategies.</li><li>Experience working in various healthcare environments such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or emergency rooms.</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring tools to deliver accessible mental health services.</li><li>Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations when necessary and utilize diagnostic evaluation tools effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient-centered care principles.</li></ul>Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing expert psychiatric care that empowers individuals on their journey toward mental wellness here at CitywideCCSJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $120.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Philadelphia, PA 19134
