Job DescriptionCIU Networks, Inc. provides MSP support to Los Angeles and Orange County areas. We take a proactive approach to keep our clients' computer, network and security systems up-to-date and protected.We are looking for an energetic Help Desk Technician to provide remote helpdesk support for our broad range of clients.As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls to triage inbound support tickets and provide Level I Help Desk supportRequired Skills:<ul><li>Minimum 1-year work experience in supporting Information Technology (IT).</li><li>Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.</li><li>Willing to work overtime as necessary.</li><li>Able to work efficiently and effectively with team members during heavy workloads.</li><li>Be detail-oriented, especially with documentation.</li><li>Prioritize and effectively resolve help desk tickets.</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Cloud Base admin / 365 Security / Sharepoint Management</li><li>Previous experience in a help desk or Level I IT support role</li><li>Business App installation and Upgrades</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot software-related issues</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Answering incoming IT support calls via phone and IT Service Desk ticketing system.</li><li>Providing timely support to end users of PCs and network devices, and multiple business applications.</li><li>Identifying, investigating and remediating alerts as part of our network operations center team.</li><li>Establishing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with end users.</li><li>Investigating and solving desktop and other systems-related issues.</li><li>Presenting information clearly and logically with the ability to explain technical issues in plain, non-technical language.</li><li>Recognizing high-priority issues and responding accordingly.</li><li>Assisting fellow team members and performing other duties as needed.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Compensation Package:<ul><li>Overtime pay</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>IT support: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
