CJD Real Estate is looking for a reliable, skilled All-Around Construction &amp; Rental Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position involves general construction duties and maintenance work on rental properties, including unit turns, repairs, and upkeep.Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on various construction projects. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality while assisting in the execution of construction tasks.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform general construction work: framing, drywall, painting, roofing, light plumbing/electrical, etc.</li><li>Conduct rental property maintenance: unit turns, appliance installation, small repairs</li><li>Troubleshoot and fix tenant-reported issues</li><li>Maintain clean, safe, and functional properties</li><li>Read blueprints and follow job specs when needed</li><li>Communicate with property managers for maintenance scheduling and updates</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>2+ years of construction and/or property maintenance experience</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/rooftops</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Opportunities for advancement</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Construction: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Edwardsville, IL 62025 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Edwardsville, IL 62025: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
