All-Around Construction & Rental Maintenance Worker

CJD Real Estate is looking for a reliable, skilled All-Around Construction & Rental Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position involves general construction duties and maintenance work on rental properties, including unit turns, repairs, and upkeep.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on various construction projects. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality while assisting in the execution of construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction work: framing, drywall, painting, roofing, light plumbing/electrical, etc.
• Conduct rental property maintenance: unit turns, appliance installation, small repairs
• Troubleshoot and fix tenant-reported issues
• Maintain clean, safe, and functional properties
• Read blueprints and follow job specs when needed
• Communicate with property managers for maintenance scheduling and updates

Requirements

• 2+ years of construction and/or property maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/rooftops
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
