Job Title: Senior Accountant &ndash; Financial Reporting &amp; BudgetingJob SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information. This role supports strategic decision-making by analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and improving financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting<ul><li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP and company policies</li><li>Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations</li><li>Lead month-end and year-end closing processes</li><li>Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits</li><li>Analyze variances and provide detailed explanations to management</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<ul><li>Lead the annual budgeting process across departments</li><li>Prepare financial forecasts and rolling budgets</li><li>Monitor budget vs actual performance and identify variances</li><li>Work closely with department heads to align budgets with business goals</li><li>Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives</li></ul>Financial Analysis &amp; Controls<ul><li>Provide insights on cost control and profitability</li><li>Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies</li><li>Maintain and improve internal controls and processes</li><li>Support decision-making with data-driven financial analysis</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations, VAT, and corporate tax laws</li><li>Prepare and submit regulatory and management reports</li><li>Assist in implementation of new accounting standards</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CA)</li><li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting. Big 4 Audit experience is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP S4 Hana is preferred)</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Preferred (UAE Context)<ul><li>Experience with VAT filings and UAE Corporate Tax</li><li>Prior experience in Contracting Industry</li><li>Immediate joiners will be preferred.</li></ul>Pay: From AED1.00 per monthWork Location: In person
