Experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster &ndash; Long Island, NYWell-established Third-Party Administrator (TPA) with over 60 years of continuous operation is seeking a skilled and motivated Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team.Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling casualty claims, with the ability to independently manage a full caseload from inception through resolution. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of claims handling practices.This position is in-office initially, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule following successful training and onboarding.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Investigate, evaluate, and manage casualty claims (including liability and bodily injury)</li><li>Determine liability exposure</li><li>Negotiate settlements within authority limits</li><li>Coordinate / communicate with attorneys and insureds</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of casualty claims adjusting experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of claims handling procedures and litigation management</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li><li>Performance-based bonuses</li><li>401(k) plan</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Stable, long-standing company with a strong industry reputation</li><li>Collaborative and professional work environment</li><li>Opportunity for hybrid work schedule following training</li></ul>Who We Are:We are a family-owned Third-Party Administrator with over 60 years of experience delivering high-quality claims management services.
