Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus in commercial space.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.</li><li>Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained and presentable.</li><li>Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed.</li><li>Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality of building systems and equipment.</li><li>Engage in industrial cleaning processes when necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to address any specific cleaning requests or special projects as required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus.</li><li>Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to residential painting or porter duties are beneficial.</li></ul>Join our team today and contribute to creating clean, safe, and inviting spaces for everyone!Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: From $25,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
