Overview CLC Engineering, LLC is a civil/structural engineering firm located in Alexandria, Louisiana, specializing in the high voltage industry. We are currently searching for a candidate to fill the full-time position of Office Assistant.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor and manage the administrative email account</li><li>Assist with project coordination and project accounting activities</li></ul>Secondary Staff Support Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer/screen incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a courteous, professional manner</li><li>Stock printers, kitchen, and bathrooms</li><li>Receive and distribute incoming mail</li><li>Light janitorial duties, including kitchen/bathroom touch-ups and trash collection</li><li>Maintain file and storage room.</li><li>Order and manage office supplies and materials (purchasing supplies online and in stores)</li><li>Copying/scanning and filing</li><li>Prepare/edit documents as requested in various office applications</li><li>Provide assistance with special events and occasions</li><li>Run errands</li><li>Other duties and special projects as assigned</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Must have a high school diploma</li><li>Must have 2-5 years related office experience</li><li>Must have strong communication, grammar, and computer skills</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PDF applications</li><li>Must be a quick learner and have great attention to detail</li><li>Must have strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills</li><li>Must have the ability to multi-task and to perform research</li><li>Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team</li><li>Must be dependable and have a professional demeanor</li><li>Must have a dependable vehicle for running errands</li></ul>Other Job Information<ul><li>No remote work.</li><li>Hours: M-TH 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., F 8:00 A.M. to 12 P.M.</li></ul>To apply, email a PDF file, containing these documents in the order below to admin@clc-engineering.com:1.
