Office Assistant

Overview

CLC Engineering, LLC is a civil/structural engineering firm located in Alexandria, Louisiana, specializing in the high voltage industry. We are currently searching for a candidate to fill the full-time position of Office Assistant.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the administrative email account
  • Assist with project coordination and project accounting activities

Secondary Staff Support Responsibilities

  • Answer/screen incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a courteous, professional manner
  • Stock printers, kitchen, and bathrooms
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail
  • Light janitorial duties, including kitchen/bathroom touch-ups and trash collection
  • Maintain file and storage room.
  • Order and manage office supplies and materials (purchasing supplies online and in stores)
  • Copying/scanning and filing
  • Prepare/edit documents as requested in various office applications
  • Provide assistance with special events and occasions
  • Run errands
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must have 2-5 years related office experience
  • Must have strong communication, grammar, and computer skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PDF applications
  • Must be a quick learner and have great attention to detail
  • Must have strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and to perform research
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Must be dependable and have a professional demeanor
  • Must have a dependable vehicle for running errands

Other Job Information

  • No remote work.
  • Hours: M-TH 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., F 8:00 A.M. to 12 P.M.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
