we are looking for an Experience porter cleaner (experienced is a must) for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday7am to 11amsite address : 4317 1st avenue, Nitro, WVrate: $13.25 per hourProvide continuous daytime cleaning, maintenance support, and facility appearance management to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment for building occupants, visitors, and staff during operating hours.Day Porter Responsibilities1. Lobby and Common Area Maintenance mainly are:<ul><li>Maintain cleanliness of entrances, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.</li><li>Remove litter, debris, and visible dirt throughout the day.</li><li>Spot clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other touch surfaces.</li><li>Dust accessible surfaces as needed.</li><li>Maintain neat appearance of furniture and fixtures.</li></ul>2. Restroom Maintenance<ul><li>Inspect restrooms regularly throughout the shift.</li><li>Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, partitions, and touch points.</li><li>Replenish consumable supplies, including:</li><li>Toilet paper</li><li>Paper towels</li><li>Hand soap</li><li>Seat covers (if applicable)</li><li>Empty waste receptacles and replace liners as needed.</li><li>Report plumbing issues or maintenance concerns immediately.</li></ul>3. Waste and Recycling Management<ul><li>Empty trash and recycling containers in common areas.</li><li>Transport waste to designated collection points.</li><li>Replace liners as needed.</li><li>Monitor waste accumulation and notify management of overflow concerns.</li></ul>4. Floor Care<ul><li>Spot sweep, mop, or vacuum high-traffic areas as required.</li><li>Address spills immediately to reduce slip hazards.</li><li>Maintain entrance mats and replace or reposition as needed.</li><li>Perform touch-up floor maintenance during operating hours.</li></ul>5. Building Appearance and Presentation<ul><li>Conduct routine inspections of public areas.</li><li>Remove fingerprints, smudges, and marks from walls, doors, and glass.</li><li>Straighten furniture and common area equipment.</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance throughout the property.</li></ul>6. Meeting Rooms and Shared Spaces<ul><li>Monitor conference rooms, break rooms, and shared workspaces.</li><li>Clean tables, countertops, and touch surfaces.</li><li>Replenish supplies as required.</li><li>Reset rooms following meetings or events when requested.</li></ul>7. Exterior Entrance Maintenance<ul><li>Patrol building entrances and adjacent sidewalks.</li><li>Remove litter and debris from entry areas.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of smoking areas, courtyards, and designated outdoor spaces.</li><li>Monitor for safety hazards and report concerns.</li></ul>8. Event and Special Support<ul><li>Provide setup and breakdown assistance for meetings and special events as directed.</li><li>Perform additional cleaning before, during, and after events.</li><li>Respond to facility-related service requests within assigned areas.</li></ul>9. Safety and Compliance<ul><li>Follow all site safety procedures and OSHA requirements.</li><li>Use approved cleaning products and equipment.</li><li>Place caution signs when performing wet work or addressing spills.</li><li>Report unsafe conditions, damages, and incidents immediately.</li><li>Maintain proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies.</li></ul>10. Inspection and Reporting<ul><li>Conduct routine facility walkthroughs.</li><li>Document completed tasks and inspections.</li><li>Report maintenance issues including:</li><li>Plumbing leaks</li><li>Lighting outages</li><li>Damaged fixtures</li><li>Safety hazards</li><li>Building security concerns</li></ul>Service StandardsThe Day Porter shall:<ul><li>Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.</li><li>Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests.</li><li>Ensure all assigned areas remain clean, orderly, and presentable throughout service hours.</li><li>Minimize disruption to occupants and visitors.</li><li>Follow all site-specific policies and procedures.</li></ul>Exclusions Unless specifically authorized, Day Porter services do not include:<ul><li>Major floor restoration</li><li>Carpet extraction</li><li>Window cleaning above reachable height</li><li>Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or specialized maintenance repairs</li><li>Hazardous material cleanup</li><li>Landscaping services</li></ul>Deliverables<ul><li>Daily facility inspections</li><li>Continuous cleaning and appearance maintenance</li><li>Supply replenishment</li><li>Incident and maintenance reporting</li><li>Daily service log (if required)</li></ul>Acceptance Criteria: All assigned areas remain clean, stocked, safe, and presentable throughout operating hours, with service requests addressed in a timely manner according to facility standards.Pay: $13.25 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>porter cleaning: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
