we are looking for an Experience porter cleaner (experienced is a must) for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
7am to 11am

Provide continuous daytime cleaning, maintenance support, and facility appearance management to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment for building occupants, visitors, and staff during operating hours.
Day Porter Responsibilities1. Lobby and Common Area Maintenance mainly are:
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
- Remove litter, debris, and visible dirt throughout the day.
- Spot clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other touch surfaces.
- Dust accessible surfaces as needed.
- Maintain neat appearance of furniture and fixtures.
2. Restroom Maintenance
- Inspect restrooms regularly throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, partitions, and touch points.
- Replenish consumable supplies, including:
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Hand soap
- Seat covers (if applicable)
- Empty waste receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Report plumbing issues or maintenance concerns immediately.
3. Waste and Recycling Management
- Empty trash and recycling containers in common areas.
- Transport waste to designated collection points.
- Replace liners as needed.
- Monitor waste accumulation and notify management of overflow concerns.
4. Floor Care
- Spot sweep, mop, or vacuum high-traffic areas as required.
- Address spills immediately to reduce slip hazards.
- Maintain entrance mats and replace or reposition as needed.
- Perform touch-up floor maintenance during operating hours.
5. Building Appearance and Presentation
- Conduct routine inspections of public areas.
- Remove fingerprints, smudges, and marks from walls, doors, and glass.
- Straighten furniture and common area equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance throughout the property.
6. Meeting Rooms and Shared Spaces
- Monitor conference rooms, break rooms, and shared workspaces.
- Clean tables, countertops, and touch surfaces.
- Replenish supplies as required.
- Reset rooms following meetings or events when requested.
7. Exterior Entrance Maintenance
- Patrol building entrances and adjacent sidewalks.
- Remove litter and debris from entry areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of smoking areas, courtyards, and designated outdoor spaces.
- Monitor for safety hazards and report concerns.
8. Event and Special Support
- Provide setup and breakdown assistance for meetings and special events as directed.
- Perform additional cleaning before, during, and after events.
- Respond to facility-related service requests within assigned areas.
9. Safety and Compliance
- Follow all site safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Use approved cleaning products and equipment.
- Place caution signs when performing wet work or addressing spills.
- Report unsafe conditions, damages, and incidents immediately.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies.
10. Inspection and Reporting
- Conduct routine facility walkthroughs.
- Document completed tasks and inspections.
- Report maintenance issues including:
- Plumbing leaks
- Lighting outages
- Damaged fixtures
- Safety hazards
- Building security concerns
Service Standards
The Day Porter shall:
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests.
- Ensure all assigned areas remain clean, orderly, and presentable throughout service hours.
- Minimize disruption to occupants and visitors.
- Follow all site-specific policies and procedures.
Exclusions Unless specifically authorized, Day Porter services do not include:
- Major floor restoration
- Carpet extraction
- Window cleaning above reachable height
- Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or specialized maintenance repairs
- Hazardous material cleanup
- Landscaping services
Deliverables
- Daily facility inspections
- Continuous cleaning and appearance maintenance
- Supply replenishment
- Incident and maintenance reporting
- Daily service log (if required)
Acceptance Criteria: All assigned areas remain clean, stocked, safe, and presentable throughout operating hours, with service requests addressed in a timely manner according to facility standards.
