Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of conveyor systems for industrial and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design, proficiency in CAD tools, and a strong understanding of materials handling equipment.Key Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to the following)<ul><li>Design and develop conveyor systems including belt, roller, chain, and custom conveyors.</li><li>Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models of mechanical components and assemblies.</li><li>Perform engineering calculations (e.g., belt tension, load distribution, shaft sizing, drive selection).</li><li>Generate bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and fabrication drawings.</li><li>Select mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and pulleys.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers.</li><li>Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, CEMA), and client specifications.</li><li>Support product development, prototyping, and on-site commissioning when required.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and implement design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical issues during production or installation.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>3&ndash;7 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably with conveyor or material handling systems.</li><li>Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS).</li><li>Knowledge of conveyor industry standards.</li><li>Field installation or commissioning experience.</li></ul>Specific Knowledge and Skills:<ul><li>Conveyor system design</li><li>Mechanical drafting (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)</li><li>Project management</li><li>Materials handling</li><li>System integration</li><li>Cost estimation and budgeting</li><li>Technical troubleshooting and support</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From AED8,000.00 per month

Mechanical Design Engineer - Conveyor System

We are hiring Immediately Junior Level Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE) Cum Document Controller with 1 year experienceSalary will be AED 2500 TO 3500 <ul><li>Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections.</li><li>Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 14001 2018 standards and local safety regulations (ADOSH).</li><li>Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.</li><li>Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare reports with corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain HSE records, including incident logs, audits, safety documentation and requesting PPEs and necessary third party trainings and inspections required for the project.</li><li>Ensure the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety guidelines.</li><li>Conduct emergency response drills and first-aid training sessions.</li><li>Coordinate with regulatory bodies for site inspections and audits.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of safety gear, tools, and other materials.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery and quality checks of ordered supplies.</li><li>Liaise with manpower suppliers to ensure an adequate workforce on-site.</li><li>Verify and maintain records of supplier agreements, invoices, and compliance documents.</li><li>Ensure subcontractors and labor suppliers comply with HSE policies.</li></ul>Administrative Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support HR and Admin functions(timesheet, VISA processes), including employee safety induction.</li><li>Maintain records related to permits, licenses, audits, and safety reports.</li><li>Assist in procurement of safety equipment and administrative supplies.</li><li>Coordinate office logistics, meetings, and document control.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Handle administrative support tasks, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.</li><li>Certifications: NEBOSH (Mandatory)</li><li>Experience: Experience as HSE inspector, officer or engineer, preferably in the construction industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Outlook mail.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.</li><li>Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, emergency response procedures, and first aid is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
