This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant environment that celebrates food, service, and guest satisfaction.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system</li><li>Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.</li><li>Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.</li><li>Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and food preparation when needed to support team efforts.</li><li>Engage with guests to foster positive relations, handle inquiries or concerns professionally, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations effectively.</li><li>Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving tables, processing payments, and supporting sanitation efforts.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes.</li><li>Effective communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate billing and transactions.</li><li>Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement.
