Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and food preparation when needed to support team efforts.
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations, handle inquiries or concerns professionally, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations effectively.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving tables, processing payments, and supporting sanitation efforts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes.
• Effective communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate billing and transactions.
