This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a compassionate environment dedicated to patient well-being.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using medical office software.</li><li>Verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately in compliance with privacy regulations.</li><li>Communicate clearly with patients regarding pre-visit instructions, appointment confirmations, and follow-up care plans.</li><li>Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient flow and efficient clinic operations.</li><li>Manage incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries about services, billing, or appointments, and direct calls appropriately.</li><li>Maintain organized documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and administrative records using medical terminology.</li><li>Support billing processes by collecting co-pays and verifying insurance coverage when necessary.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in a periodontal or dental office environment is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices is essential for success in this role.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Office experience that includes managing schedules, data entry, and customer service is beneficial.</li><li>Experience working in a dental or outpatient clinic setting is a plus but not required.
