Clover Valley Electric (CVE) &ndash; Social Media and Marketing CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe Marketing Admin is a part&#8208;time role (5&ndash;15 hours/week, typical 8 hours/week) that supports CVE&rsquo;s ongoing marketing and communications efforts. Working directly with Shannon (Owner &amp; Business Manager) and John (Owner &amp; Master Electrician), the Marketing Admin plans, executes, and tracks marketing activities across social media, direct mail, email, business&#8208;to&#8208;business outreach, and website/SEO. This role helps ensure consistent, brand&#8208;aligned messaging that builds trust across the North Shore community and drives steady, seasonal&#8208;aware lead flow.Key Responsibilities:Social Media &amp; Content&middot; Draft, schedule, and publish posts across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile.&middot; Capture on&#8208;site photos/short videos; assist with shooting and editing reels featuring the team (incl. &ldquo;Clover Valley John&rdquo;).&middot; Write clear, educational captions with thoughtful calls&#8208;to&#8208;action; maintain brand tone (North Shore rugged, family&#8208;owned, trustworthy).&middot; Maintain a content calendar aligned to seasonal priorities (winter heating, LED retrofits; summer underground services).Direct Mail &amp; Print&middot; Coordinate design and printing of door hangers, flyers, and postcards (Adobe Creative Suite/Canva).&middot; Compile target neighborhoods, resorts, cabins, and property clusters for distribution.&middot; Track campaign timing, distribution, and responses.Email &amp; B2B Outreach&middot; Prepare quarterly email newsletters to customers and leads.&middot; Research and compile regional business contacts (resorts, property managers, builders, HOAs) for outreach.&middot; Draft introductory messages and follow&#8208;up scripts for Shannon/John.Website &amp; SEO&middot; Coordinate with Big West Marketing on website updates and SEO content alignment.&middot; Monitor Google Business Profile insights and reviews; flag trends/opportunities.&middot; Keep site pages fresh with new photos, project write&#8208;ups, and seasonal campaigns.Admin &amp; Reporting&middot; Maintain a monthly metrics report (reach, engagement, leads, conversion surrogates).&middot; Track marketing expenses and coordinate with the Financial Admin (Jack).&middot; Organize a reusable media library (Dropbox/CompanyCam) with proper naming conventions.Qualifications&middot; Education or coursework in marketing/communications/digital media preferred.&middot; Hands&#8208;on with Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and basic video editing (FinalCutPro/iMovie/Premiere).&middot; Strong written, visual, and organizational skills; comfortable working independently with support/direction.&middot; Interest in small&#8208;business marketing, community engagement, and brand storytelling.Work Details&middot; Hours: 5&ndash;15 hours per week; schedule varies by season and campaign load.&middot; Location: Duluth, MN; Hybrid Work Option Available; occasional on&#8208;site content capture and collaboration; flexible schedule to accommodate other commitments.&middot; Reports to: Shannon Christensen (Owner &amp; Business Manager) and John Christensen (Owner &amp; Master Electrician).&middot; Compensation: Typical range $22-28/hour for part&#8208;time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator.Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 5 &ndash; 15 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Duluth, MN 55804
