This role is responsible for handling day-to- day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with weekly supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in beginning their accounting career, as you will gain exposure to many aspects of the accounting operations including finance and human resources.This is a permanent position and could be part-time or full-time depending on candidates desired hours. Accounting &amp; Finance Duties<ul><li>Prepare and send out Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices</li><li>Maintain and update AR worksheets for invoicing</li><li>Perform Accounts Payable (AP) entry and processing</li><li>Process ACH payments and transactions</li><li>Manage and reconcile expense reports</li><li>Monitor and reconcile company credit card transactions</li><li>Prepare and Upload Monthly print logs for Invoicing</li><li>Submit and track Subconsultant AP invoices</li><li>Record and process cash receipts and bank deposits</li><li>Code expense reports for administrative charges</li></ul>Project &amp; Contract Support<ul><li>Assist with project setup in internal systems</li><li>Update and maintain contract amendments</li><li>Track and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs)</li></ul>Human Resources Support<ul><li>Review Employee Timesheets</li><li>Prepare and Process Payroll</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred</li><li>2+ years of experience in administrative and/or accounting support roles</li><li>Basic understanding of accounting principals (AR/AP processes)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); accounting software experience a plus</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Flexible, collaborative and people-focused approach to day-to-day work with excellent communication skills</li><li>Excellent communication and self management skills</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Schedule<ul><li>Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time position depending on Candidate Desired hours</li><li>Office-based role with regular interaction across departments</li></ul>Compensation&middot; The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000Pay: $28.84 - $33.84 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
