We are looking to fill a full-time position in our Arlington Store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly energetic and can handle a fast-paced environment. The successful person in this position will be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, and willing to support all members of our team at Co-op Supply.RESPONSIBLITIESThis lead position will be responsible for the overall management of the business with sales volume of $4.5m - $7.5m. In addition, the Retail Store Manager&rsquo;s responsibility is to direct, promote and coordinate the operations and mission of Co-op Supply in a manner that will maintain operating efficiency and profitability, directing staff for optimum performance, safety and excellent customer service.<ul><li>Establish and implement store policies, goals, objectives and procedures.</li><li>Be familiar with all store employees&rsquo; roles and their responsibilities.</li><li>Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, supervising orientation and training all employees.</li><li>Motivate, develop and direct people through product training, coaching and evaluating daily activities.</li><li>Conduct productive written reviews of all store employees</li><li>Keep accurate record of employee conduct, if necessary, perform effective dismissal, communicate with management and follow company policy.</li><li>Always Maintain Company Safety standards and up to date training</li><li>Maintain open, positive communication with management and staff.</li><li>Conduct monthly staff meeting to communicate company, store, safety and training topics.</li><li>Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided by all employees, following Co-op Supply Customer Service Program.</li><li>Promptly and appropriately respond to customer inquiries and complaints.</li><li>Work closely to train and develop the Assistant Manager through coaching and evaluating daily processes with staff, store decisions and facility maintenance.</li><li>WA State Pesticides License required.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul>Financial Responsibilities<ul><li>Work with General Manager to establish and work to achieve store budget and goals.</li><li>Oversee daily processes of paperwork to Administration.</li><li>Work with Purchaser to maintain adequate inventory to maximize sales, keeping stock at required levels.</li><li>Analyze sales and adjust inventory, while working closely with Retail Development to follow trends and growth opportunities to maximize profitability.</li><li>Monitor and control loss (shrink, damage and out-of-date product) through employee communication and training.</li></ul>Facility Management<ul><li>Ensure that site facilities and equipment meet all federal, state and OSHA regulations.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times, through communication and follow- up on any repairs and employee training necessary.</li><li>Knowledge of operation of store security systems and procedures.</li></ul>Knowledge and Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, leadership and coordination of people and resources.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals by developing and communicating with staff.</li><li>High level of analyzing, evaluating and resolution skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.</li><li>Utilize time management skills to maximize productivity.</li><li>Enthusiasm and ability to motivate staff through positive behavior and communication.</li><li>Proficient with Windows based software, but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.</li></ul>Perform other duties as assigned by Management.Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to work standing, sitting, bending over, kneeling for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to push and pull up to 50lbs frequently</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions</li></ul>Reports directly to General ManagerCo-op Supply offers:<ul><li>Pay range from $38.46 to $46.15 per hour</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision available</li><li>Paid Holidays &amp; Paid Time Off (vacation and sick pay)</li><li>401K with up to 5% Company Match</li><li>Generous Employee Discounts</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personPay: $38.46 - $46.15 per hourWork Location: In person
